Chris Brown On 'SNL': Everyone Deserves A Second ChanceChris Rogers
Chris Brown is making his rounds in the news lately for a mistake he made almost two years ago.
Brown recently petitioned for a restraining order with ex girlfriend Rihanna to be lessened and with the Grammys happening tomorrow night (Feb. 13) many are wondering if they will reconcile. The answer is no as Brown will not be attending the awards show.
And now news is spreading that Brown will be the musical guest on an episode of Saturday Night Live tonight with host Russell Brand. Unfortunately, some people are coming out in defense of this and claiming that Brown does not deserve this attention.
I beg to differ. People make mistakes in their lives. Granted, this was a big mistake – it doesn’t mean that he should be punished for the rest of his life. Chris Brown is extremely talented. I’m not saying that if he wasn’t he would deserve the punishment, but I believe he was born to entertain. And just because he made past mistakes does not mean we should hold it against him forever.
I say Chris should take this opportunity and go full force ahead. Take this as a start to brand new you. I am very much looking forward to the performance and the positive years ahead.
