Christina Applegate Says "It’s Been So Rough" Going Back To Work

Christina Applegate is back to work on her latest sitcom and her role on the show is definitely mirroring her personal life.
In the new show, Up All Night, Applegate and Will Arnett struggle to balance their work and home life while raising a baby.
Sound familiar? Applegate gave birth to her own baby, Sadie Grace, just this past January. She says it’s “been so rough” getting back to work, she told People.
“It’s a really hard thing to do because you miss them. But I’m doing well.”
Applegate, 36, is engaged to Martyn LeNoble and enjoying the most important role of all – motherhood.
“Parenthood just changed me in the sense that nothing really matters but [Sadie],” Applegate said. “None of it really matters. The importance I placed on things prior to this moment, they don’t matter anymore.
All that matters is I get to go in there in the morning and see her face. She smiles at me and my life is better.”
Up All Night will premiere on NBC on September 14, 2011, at 10 p.m.
