After Christina Milian gave birth to her daughter Violet, the new mom was at a loss as to how to lose her post-bump baby weight. Rather than relying on fad diets or an insane workout regimen, Christina turned to something familiar to help her shed those extra pounds: her mother, Carmen!
In an interview with Usweekly.com, Milian explains that in the first month following the pregnancy, she “lost weight drastically. On top of that, [my mom] cooked me a lot of raw vegetables and raw salads and proteins — and it worked! I also drank a lot of water.”
What an interesting mother daughter dynamic! It seems pretty logical, especially since Carmen has obviously been in her daughter’s position before (presumably after giving birth to Christina!). Don’t you think Mama Milian should consider putting together some sort of cook book to help other moms shed their unwanted pounds? Whatever she is cooking seems to be working- Christina is looking great!
