Dancing With the Stars: Who Will Be Voted Off Next? Generation MTV Vs. Generation Brady Bunch

Dancing with the stars

Dancing with the stars

Who is the biggest Dancing with the Stars fan I know? My mother in law. This grandma of six absolutely loves it and all her evening activities revolve around watching the show (she hasn’t figured out how to use Tivo). She adores watching the celebrities do their thing, all of them.  But does she know who The Situation is? Yeah, not so much. But Florence Henderson,  the lady who was in Fanny on Broadway, who went on to star in some show called The Brady Bunch? She is very familiar.

When she makes her Dancing with the Stars vote it will probably be more towards Mrs. Brady, not just because she knows who she is, but because she is much closer in age to Florence Henderson. And she’s not the only one. Florence will no doubt last longer than The Situation mainly due to the older demographic vote, and she will probably last longer than Margaret Cho (the more conservative voters probably won’t cotton to all those tattoos) and The Hills star Audrina won’t be relying on the  generation Brady vote. In theory, the MTV vote might be split between Audrina and The Situation but the “irony” vote will for sure get The Situation more calls. And those with real dancing talent, they will of course last, so Brandy and Jennifer Grey are safe.

I have no demographic data to back this up, but it seems that the Brady generation not only will tune in more to Dancing with the Stars that the MTV generation but they’re more apt to care enough to vote. The Situation and Audrina? They’ll probably have a few more dances in them, but outlasting Mrs. Brady? I think not.
