Dancing with the Stars Winner 2010: Jennifer Greys DWTS Win a Surprise?

Dancing with the Stars winner Jennifer Grey!

The Dancing with the Stars winner is Jennifer Grey… but were you surprised by who won Dancing with the Stars 2010? Was Jennifer Grey’s DWTS win a shocker?

I know that many Dancing with the Stars fans were relieved that Bristol Palin didn’t win. There was a whole DWTS boycott on the horizon if Bristol won the dancing competition, so we dodged that one.

As far as Dancing with the Stars’ winners go, I think Jennifer Grey is really the top choice, although I do believe Kyle Massey was a worthy competitor!

Were you surprised that Jennifer Grey is the Dancing with the Stars winner?

Of course, everyone has their favorite on Dancing with the Stars, but I think that Jennifer Grey was a sentimental favorite from the beginning. For anyone that watched and fell in love with Grey in Dirty Dancing, plus her connection with Patrick Swayze … well, she seemed like a good bet to win.

Add to that the fact that Jennifer Grey is truly a talented dancer, and it looked like she was an easy lock.

But with Bristol Palin’s Tea Party voting conspiracy and underdog-but-amazingly talented -entertainer Kyle Massey in the finals, it didn’t look like Jennifer’s win was completely secure.

Did you vote for Jennifer Grey? Do you think she deserved to win?
