Well, has she or hasn’t she? Danielle Staub of the Real Housewives of New Jersey felt compelled to address rumors that she’ll be shut out for Season 3 of the hit show, but her response brings more questions than answers. (Personally I think Teresa Giudice should stop doing the jig in her tacky McMansion until Bravo confirms the rumor.)
“Actually, I’m not even thinking about season 3 right now as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me,” she says in a statement. (Note to Bravo: for the love of all things holy, don’t give this woman her own show a la Bethenny Frankel. We beg you!) “Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows …”
“Don’t worry,” Staub continued, “next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.” Or maybe just plain hate?
Bravo’s official position on the matter: “We’re focused on season 2 right now…We haven’t announced anything regarding a third season.”
Here’s why Bravo won’t fire her. Really, why would they? She’s ratings gold.
