David Beckham knows how to root, root, root for the home team!
Ever since making his spectacular motorboat entrance at London’s Olympic Stadium to help launch the Games, the superstar footballer has been spotted in the stands watching a variety of events from BMX racing to basketball to women’s beach volleyball.
Last night, David attended the finals of men’s platform diving, accompanied by sons Brooklyn (in dark blue), Romeo (far right) and Cruz (far left, with the oh-so-smart fauxhawk). They were there to cheer on British diver Tom Daley, a young sensation who became world champion three years ago at age 15.
Daley led into the final round, but in the end it was American David Boudia who took home the gold.
The Beckham men didn’t seem disappointed with their lad’s bronze finish. They yelled, clapped and offered their congratulations to the entire team at the end of the meet.
But what we love most is seeing David’s relationship with his sons. He’s one dad who genuinely loves being with his family, and isn’t afraid to show his affection with hugs and kisses.
Tonight, it’ll be mom Victoria who takes the spotlight when she performs at the closing ceremony with The Spice Girls for the first time in years.
So how much do you love these pics? And are you looking forward to tonight’s show?
