David Duchovny, Tea Leoni Separate: What About the Kids?WendyM
David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have split once again, and while the couple is unsure if they’ll file for divorce, for now they have separated.
TMZ.com first reported that David Duchovny and Tea Leoni separated, with Leoni’s rep later confirming the news.
What does this separation mean for their kids, ages 9 and 12? Well, it’s familiar territory, as Tea and David separated in 2008 when Duchovny admitted to sex addiction and entered rehab.
Their family apparently was able to function under separation at that time, when the kids were younger, despite the circumstances surrounding their split. At the time, they released a statement that said they had been separated for months, noting that they “had hoped to keep this separation private for the sake of their children.”
Leoni and Duchovny later reconciled, so you have to wonder is this separation is yet another case of Duchovny cheating on Leoni.
Tea Leoni and David Duchovny were married in 1997.
