Reunited and working on their marriage, actors David Duchovny and Téa Leoni, have moved their family to the Big Apple! Their children, Madelaine West, 10, and Kyd Miller, 7, are loving it.
On a recent appearance of Live with Regis and Kelly, David said of their kids and the move to New York City, “They love it, they love it. We’re back!”
Both David and Téa are native New Yorkers and their children are now attending their former schools! Madelaine is at at The Brearley School and Kyd at Collegiate.
David, who was enrolled at Collegiate, said, “It’s almost 75 years since I went there. It’s all changed, but there are some elements that are the same.”
The 49-year-old actor joked, “You don’t sit in a hallway in a school unless you’ve done something wrong. So I’m always sitting in the hallway thinking, ‘What have I done?’ Or maybe the statute of limitations for what I did in high school isn’t over, and [Miller is] going to come say, ‘Dad, you’ve got some detentions to fulfill.'”
David said his kids want cell phones (ha, where have I heard that before?). “Now they want cell phones. They have no one to call, but hey… They just want the thing; It seems adult to them, so they want the gadget.” Going through this very thing in my house!
Glad David and Téa are back on track. I like them… sure, I don’t really know them, but I like them both as actors and they seem down to earth.
Good luck to them in their new surroundings!
