David Schwimmer Totally Crushes My Soul By Debunking "Friends" Movie Rumors

David Schwimmer and Zoe Buckman at the special screening of 'The Great Gatsby' at the Museum Of Modern Art in New York CityOh, Ross. We are NOT on a break. Well, when it comes to the marathon episodes of Friends that I still watch on the weekends at least!

According to David, who played our favorite lovable yet quirky paleontologist Ross Gellar on the long-running hit series Friends, he says that unfortunately we won’t be seeing Rachel, Monica, and the gang on the big screen anytime soon. The actor made a surprise visit on Windy City LIVE in Chicago where he explained why the rumors of a Friends reunion probably won’t become reality.

He said, ” I don’t think it’s going to happen … we all really loved how it ended and we thought why mess with that. It was, you know, let’s just leave it.”

He continued, “we all moved on both professionally and personally and it just doesn’t seem like any organic good reason to.”

Thanks David for totally crushing my heart there. Really, thanks a lot. Now we’ll never find out how Chandler is doing with fatherhood, if Emma Gellar has her mommy’s haircut, and if Phoebe and Mike ever started a family that didn’t involve rats. Heart: broken.

Tell us, Babble readers, are you like me and do you think Friends should come back on the big screen? Let us know your thoughts!
