Demi Lovato is done with rehab but the actress may not return to her Disney hit series Sonny With a Chance. The 18-year-old actress pulled out of a concert tour in November and entered rehab to get treatment for “emotional and physical issues.”
Demi Lovato has struggled with eating disorders and cutting for several years, and finally got help after some incidents on the Jonas Brothers tour in South America.
The future of Disney series Sonny with a Chance is up in the air right now. A Disney Channel spokeswoman said that “Demi’s management will inform us when she is able to return to work.”
Demi Lovato became a teen celebrity after she starred in the 2008 Disney Channel movie Camp Rock. Lovato used the Disney movie as a platform to launch a music career and she has released two hit albums.
According to several reports, Demi Lovato will continue outpatient therapy. The actress will “continue to see doctors in L.A. who will help her work on the issues she confronted in treatment.”
