Demi Lovato rehab issues include Joe Jonas breakup?

Demi Lovato has entered rehab to get treatment for “emotional and physical issues,” according to her rep but has touring with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas taken a toll?

As you may recall, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas started dating earlier this year for a couple of months, then went through a very public breakup.

And then Demi Lovato had to follow her breakup with Joe immediately with promoting Camp Rock 2 and going on tour… with Joe Jonas.

I can’t even imagine the emotional impact that had to have on Demi Lovato, who turned 18 recently.

A break up is never easy… but can you imagine then having to spend a majority of your time with your ex as part of your job?

No doubt there are other factors that contributed to Demi Lovato’s rehab treatment there is a history of bullying, plus rumors of an eating disorder and cutting too (not to mention her fallout with Selena Gomez) but having to spend time with ex boyfriend Joe Jonas may have been the final straw.

Factor in the buzz that Joe Jonas has been bringing his new girlfriend, Ashley Greene on tour too… and well, you can’t blame a girl for needing a little help in working through it all.

It’s nice to know that Demi Lovato is seeking the rehab treatment and getting help now, rather than following that old celebrity downward spiral.

Lovato continues to set a good example for young girls having spoken out on bullying in the past and now getting help for her issues.

Take care of yourself, Demi!
