The storyline with Gaby and Carlos on Desperate Housewives season 7 episode 2 is moving along quickly!

At the end of Sunday’s episode, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) reveals the truth to Gaby (Eva Longoria Parker) about their daughter, Juanita.

We knew the truth would eventually come out but so soon?  I’m surprised how quickly the show revealed the storyline to us!

Last week, we learned that Juanita was switched at birth.  I’m used to seeing soaps drag out these things as long as possible, but already in the second episode, the baby switch storyline is up front and center.

Which means now the search will continue: where is Carlos and Gaby’s biological daughter?  Who are Juanita’s biological parents?

It will be interesting to see how they cover the storyline. Will Carlos and Gaby try to find their daughter?  Will they search for Juanita’s real parents?  Will they tell Juanita the truth?

The mystery will surely unfold in the weeks to come.

I have to give props to the writers for spewing out so many storylines with so much drama in such a short time.  Not to mention the funny one-liners.

Here’s how it went down.  This time, Bree hits Juanita with her car, sending her to the hospital.  The nurse asks Gaby, “How old was she when you adopted her?”   Juanita’s blood type doesn’t match either hers or her husband’s.

A shocked Gaby then goes down memory lane, trying to figure out who might be the father revealing her “sexsomnia”, an actual sleep disorder with sexual behavior.  Believe it or not, it exists!

Once Gaby gets wind of Carlos’ suspicions, she tries to run… but she can’t hide from the truth (video):
