Feeling like you need a detox diet after yesterday’s Thanksgiving feast? You’re not alone! Thanksgiving is definitely a day to indulge in delicious treats, but leaves most of us hungry for a detox diet the next day.
Celebrities are big fans of detox diets to cleanse their systems, flatten their bellies, and leave them feeling and looking lighter. Here are some of the best celebrity detox diet secrets we’ve found.
Gwyneth Paltrow – This gorgeous celeb mom always looks fab…and she never looks like she’s carrying extra weight around! That’s probably because she does a detox diet a couple times a year. Gwyneth’s seven-day detox diet consists of cutting out caffeine (yikes!), processed food, and dairy. Instead, she drinks beet-carrot-apple-ginger juice, and eats foods like sugar and soy-free teriyaki chicken and broccoli and arugula soup.
Beyonce - Beyonce has done the Master Cleanse for her choice of detox diet. The Master Cleanse is a tough detox diet to follow. For 10-14 days, she drank a concoction made of lemon juice, hot water, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. She lost 20 lbs. for her role in Dreamgirls, but admits to being incredibly hungry and irritable on the plan.
Megan Fox - I can’t imagine Megan Fox actually needing a detox diet, but supposedly she uses apple cider vinegar to help cleanse her body.
Anne Hathaway – Anne Hathaway uses David Kirch’s 48-hour detox diet. It is basically the same detox as the Master Cleanse, but only lasts for 2 days instead of 2 weeks. Anne likes this detox to get ready for the Red Carpet!
Guiliana Rancic – Guiliana Rancic chose The Ultimate Tea Diet to get ready for her wedding. She drank four cups of tea every day and ate chicken and steamed vegetables.
