Did Jimmie Johnson Name His Daughter After GM? Plus Other Odd Celebrity Initials!

By Sunny Chanel |

Race car drivers are branded wonders. Their cars, jumpsuits and helmets proudly show off their advertising partnerships. They physical presence at the race track is a commercial cacophony of logos, slogans and company names. But perhaps this loyalty to their ever important sponsors doesn’t stop at just track.  So begs the question…did driver Jimmie Johnson name his daughter after GM?

Johnson drives a Chevy Impala in his races and he also owns a Chevy dealership. So his bread and butter is all General Motors. And what did he name his brand new baby? Him and his wife named her Genevieve Marie. But it’s supposedly “purely coincidence.”

So what other celebrities have kids who have company initials…purely coincidental of course…

Jessica Alba – Daughter is Honor Marie
Nicole Richie – Daughter is Harlow Madden
Both for clothier H & M? Handy since both of these moms love to go shopping.

Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck – Daughter Violet Anne Affleck
For VA (the state of Virgina and Jennifer Garner is from West Virginia) or Virgin Airlines.

Halle Berry – Nahla Aubry
She has the unfortunate initials of NA for Narcotics Anonymous or Not Available. Neither have a very good ring.

Milla Jovovich - Ever Anderson
Perhaps she’ll be a future gamer, EA (for Electronic Arts) would be appropriate for such a hobby.

Busy Philipps – Birdie Silverstein
Yup, her daughter’s initials are BS.
