Did Justin Bieber Have A Falling Out With His Mother?

Justin Bieber, seen all over the Internet today frolicking with way-too-old for him Kim Kardashian-has reportedly had a falling out with his mother, Pattie Mallette. The reason? She is too overprotective.

In a realm of current child stars (I’m looking at you Miley Cyrus) this is refreshing. Justin is a mega-mega-mega celeb right now and if he isn’t careful he could find himself in Britney Spears/Danny Bonaduce/Gary Coleman/Insert Former Child Star Turned Train Wreck territory faster than he can say ‘One Less Lonely Girl.”

Pattie is not happy with some of Justin’s choices and enforces the kind of rules mothers are won’t to enforce like cutting off Internet after a certain time or maintaining a curfew. She also disapproves of his relationships with Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift, so you have to wonder what she thinks of this whole business of him running around with a 30 year old reality TV star who became famous for a certain video tape.

“He wants to enjoy the perks of being one of the hottest stars on the planet, and Pattie’s trying to keep him grounded,” an insider tells a magazine. “Justin’s been complaining non-stop about how controlling his mom is. He loves her, but he hates being treated like a child. He’s gotten a taste of freedom, and now he wants more.”

The Biebs was recently thrown out a movie theater for trying to sneak into premium seating, but that has been the extent of his scandals, so it looks like Mom has been doing a pretty good job thus far. This seems like regular, healthy teen angst magnified under the spotlight of fame. It’s good to know one parent is doing right by their famous kid.
