Diesel "Be Stupid": Creative Campaign or Awful Advice

A good question.

Diesel’s new multicolored campaign has attracted attention from consumers and mothers alike, acknowledged either for the creativity or crudeness of its ads. The main message of this campaign is simple: Be Stupid.

Although the prints, seen in full here, are quite cleaver, the call to action is undeniably unsettling. Should such a well-known brand be promoting something so, well…stupid?
