If Jessica Simpson‘s tweets today are any indication, the baby in her adorable bumpy belly is a boy!
Her message today on Twitter revealed yet another in her long line of odd pregnancy cravings: “Kraft mac and cheese with lawry’s seasoning salt is the breakfast for pregnant champions!”
In weeks past, Jess has confessed to eating canteloupe with lots of salt on top, as well as toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with licks of salt, tequila-shot-style, in between.
According to the old wives’ tale, a pregnancy craving for salt is an indicator of a boy, while a sugar jones means a girl is on the way. (FYI, I was mad for peanut butter when I was expecting my son, and I never took sugar in my coffee until I became pregnant with my daughter. Just sayin’.)
But there’s another sign Jessica may be incubating a boy cousin for sister Ashlee’s son Bronx.
Those old wives also say that if you’re carrying your baby low and round in front, it’s a boy – and from the look of her here, that’s certainly the case.
Supposedly, not having morning sickness is yet another sign of a little boy blue. Wouldn’t you know it – Jessica told Access Hollywood back in November, “So far, so good – no morning sickness. I feel great!”
So there you have it – definite unscientific proof! Jess, you might as well start stocking up on blue crib sheets and “Mommy’s Little Boy” bibs now.
What about you? Were any of the old wives’ tales true during your pregnancy/ies?
