Does Chaz Bono Think Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Has Gender Identity Issues?

What does Chaz Bono think of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt?

It’s no secret that little Shiloh Jolie-Pitt loves to dress like her brothers! She is quite the little tomboy, and honestly, when I see pictures of her I often have to remind myself that she is a girl and not a boy. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt haven’t been shy about the fact that Shiloh dresses this way because she has a mind of her own and that’s how she wants to look.

Chaz Bono, formerly Chastity Bono, recently underwent surgery to become a man after struggling with his gender his whole life. He is now committed to helping children who are going through a similar situation, and volunteers for a support group for them and their families. Does Chaz Bono think that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has gender identity issues?

Maybe. He recently said, “I would love to talk to Brad and Angelina at some point…To at least let them know we have this resource for them if they ever need it.”

Chaz also commends kids who express themselves and added, “I relate to these kids. The difference between them and myself is that I didn’t articulate it and fight for it and say, ‘No, no, no! I’m a boy!’ I have so much respect for these kids that do.”

Brad and Angelina don’t seem at all bothered by Shiloh’s choice to dress like a boy, but for parents who may be having a hard time with it, Bono offers this piece of advice:

“People get too freaked out about kids and what to do with kids. If you just let kids do what they need to do they usually have the right idea.”
