Another Dr. Seuss classic will be coming to the big screen. This time Dr. Seuss’ classic The Lorax is being honored with an adaptation of into feature film-dom. The film – by the creators of Despicable Me - tells ,”classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope. The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old (Ted) as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.”
An all star cast will bring to story to life. Danny DeVito is the voice of The Lorax; Zac Efron as Ted; Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams; Rob Riggle, Ed Helms; and the one and only Betty White also lend their voices.
Sound good? The bad news? You’ll have to wait until March 2012 to see it!
