The Duggar family are pitching in to help out those impacted by the recent tornado in Joplin, Missouri.
The Duggars, who live in Arkansas, drove an hour to assist in any way they could following the devastating tornado. Dad Jim Bob and six of the Duggar kids – Josh, John, Jana, Jill, Jessa, Joseph – were in Joplin on Sunday night and Monday to help clear debris, search for survivors and deliver supplies.
It’s nice to see reality stars doing some good, although I suspect that the Duggars of TLC’s “19 Kids & Counting” are a little more charitable than most reality stars on TV.
Four of the Duggar clan are fire department volunteers and their work is admirable.
Josh told of the devastation in Joplin, noting, “People in Joplin aren’t looking for stuff, they’re looking for their lives.”
Thanks for pitching in, Duggars!
