Forget about current Bachelor Ben Flajnik, all eyes are on the next Bachelorette: Emily Maynard!
Maynard, who was formerly proposed to by Brad Womack in March 2011, is ready to move on with her love life and search for love again on ABC’s long-running reality series.
The eight season of the Bachelorette will start filming in March. It was a “change of heart” for Maynard after months of playing hard-to-get with ABC, a Maynard pal tells Us Weekly. “She’s looking for a man — not a little boy.”
To keep things fresh on the aging show, sources are suggesting that the series will relocate to Maynard’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina so that Emily can be close to her daughter Ricki.
“The guys will be flying to her. We’re switching things up a bit,” hints an insider.
A few months after her engagement to Brad, Emily sat down with Bachelor host Chris Harrison to share her feelings. “I wanted to be married and have more children, but I doubted he was going to still want to be with me. As a single mom, I don’t have the luxury of saying “we’ll figure it out when we get there.” I need that reassurance that he’d want to be with me six weeks down the road much less six years.”
What do you think of this new move for ABC?
