Emily Maynard Will Change Her Last Name to 'Holm". Will Ricki Change Her Last Name Too?

Just a few days after the finale of The Bachelorette aired, Emily Maynard and her fiance Jef Holm have been spotted everywhere together. They have done interview after interview about their love, their future plans and their wedding.

It seems we are looking at the future Mr. and Mrs. Holm! Emily confirms during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show that she totally plans on taking Jef’s last name once they tie the knot.

Emily has a 7-year-old daughter named Ricki who is a big part of this relationship too. The big question — will Ricki be taking his last name as well?

I believe that no matter what last name Ricki has, Jef is going to be a great step-dad to her. During the same interview, Jef told Seacrest that he is looking forward to being Ricki’s step-dad saying, “Every chance I get to see her and hang out with her, I take advantage of that. She’s seriously the sweetest girl ever.”

Jef was the only one on The Bachelorette who met Ricki and since his and Emily’s engagement, he has been spending a lot of time bonding with 7-year-old Ricki. I don’t think a shared last name will make them any closer, but it really is sweet to hear that they are getting along so well!

:: What do you think? Do you think Ricki will or should take Jef’s last name as well? Do you think it matters? ::
