Will Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg join Jesse Eisenberg tonight on Saturday Night Live? Jesse Eisenberg is set to host SNL and word is Mark Zuckerber may stop by. Jesse Eisenberg played the role of the Facebook founder in The Social Network.

Word is that SNL approached Zuckerberg about showing up tonight as a surprise for host Eisenberg.  The New York Post reports that the Facebook founder, who isn’t the biggest fan of The Social Network is interested in appearing on Saturday Night Live with Eisenberg “to show he has a sense of humor.”

The Social Network has been nominated for eight Oscars.

The Social Network is the story of the founding of Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake.   The Social Network has been the darling of awards season and is up for several Oscars.  The movie was written by Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing) with David Fincher (Fight Club) directing, both men are up for an Academy Award. The Facebook film is based on the book “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich.
