Family Taunts Dying 7 Year Old
We’ve heard a lot about children bullying children and of teenage bullying this week, but now comes a horrifying story of a grown woman and mother taunting a dying seven year old.
Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of Huntington’s Disease, which killed her mother, Laura, at 24. It’s a sad time for the family and should be one of peace, but their neighbors, the Petkovs have been harassing. They drove by their house with a coffin attached to their car during Laura’s funeral. They also photo shopped images to Facebook, including “Laura in the arms of the grim reaper” and Kathleen’s face superimposed over a skull and crossbones.
Why would they do this?
The short version: They’re evil. The longer version is that they were upset over an incident involving a bouncy castle. Jennifer Petkov texted someone in the Rose family, asking if her kids could come to the event and they took what she deemed to long too respond. Therefore they deserve this?
Now that the story has hit the news, many have gathered for a vigil for Kathleen to let her know that there are good people in the world. Jennifer has apologized saying:
“If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t do it…And to that little girl, I apologize if you’ve been hurt. There’s not much more I can say. And hopefully we can live our lives peacefully from now on.” She added, “What I did was ignorant and wrong and I would walk right across this street now and apologize, if it weren’t for the PPO (personal protection order issued against her earlier by a court).”
However, she just doesn’t seem that sorry.
Jennifer Petkov is human trash. She doesn’t deserve to live.
