Malinda Sapp, late wife of Marvin Sapp

Malinda Sapp, wife of gospel singer and pastor Marvin Sapp, with whom she had three children, passed away today after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Fans are paying tribute on Twitter, just days after Marvin appealed to them to pray for his wife, whose cancer tragically came out of remission recently.

Dozens of tweets per minute are popping up on Twitter paying tribute to Sapp’s dynamic partner, who was also a great speaker herself and advocated for the empowerment of women. In fact, Sapp is the top trending topic this afternoon, and that speaks so much to how many lives the Sapps have touched.
