Charlie’s Angels actress Farrah Fawcett has lost her battle with cancer at the age of 62.
From MyFoxal.com News:
Fawcett’s publicist, Allen S. Miller, posted on Twitter , “Our Farrah has passed onto a better place and left the confines of cancer. Her vision lives…”
Ryan O’Neal, the longtime companion who had reunited with Fawcett as she fought anal cancer, was at her side, along with close friend Alana Stewart, spokesman Paul Bloch said.
“After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away,” O’Neal said. “Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”
According to Farrah Fawcett’s publicist on Wednesday, June 24 on Twitter , Farrah was given last rites and was not in any pain as she neared the end.
Farrah leaves behind her son Redmond O’Neal, 24. I hope he was able to say his goodbyes to his mom.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Watching a loved one suffer with cancer is never easy, but Farrah put up a good fight, and she’s in a better place now, no more pain.
