Farrah Fawcett Swimsuit Donated To Smithsonian On Her Birthday

Farrah Fawcett is an American icon who will never be forgotten. Today, Groundhog Day 2011, would have been Farrah Fawcett’s 64th Birthday.

To celebrate her life, Farrah’s longtime love Ryan O’Neal and his daughter Tatum O’Neal are in Washington, D.C. today, where Farrah Fawcett’s legendary red bathing suit will be given to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Farrah Fawcett wore the red swimsuit in her famous 1970s pinup poster. Along with the bathing suit, Ryan O’Neal is donating Farrah’s script from Charlie’s Angels, and the original poster.

Farrah Fawcett lost her battle with cancer in 2009. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.
