Festivus and Festivus Pole: Watch the Seinfeld Episode! (Video)

Festivus, Festivus pole

Festivus for the rest of us!

Festivus is upon us so pull out your Festivus Pole!

So what the heck is festivus?  “Festivus for the rest of us” is celebrated on December 23rd.

Festivus is a holiday that was created by Seinfeld writer Dan O’Keefe.   Watch the video below!

Today, December 23, is technically the day to celebrate Festivus and all you need is a large pole, lots of your friends and a list of complaints about them.

The original airing of Festivus is on the episode called ‘The Strike’  and this is one of the most popular episodes of the series.

All you need to do is gather around an aluminum pole the people at your party and share all the reasons why they disappointed you over during the last 12 months.  Sounds like fun to me!

Then the feats of strength challenge is basically the wrestling competition against the head of household.

Will you be celebrating? ;)
