What did new moms do before Twitter came along? Our fast-paced social media world makes it super-easy to announce big news, show off baby pictures seconds after taking them and even vent once in a while about colic and stinky diapers.
Celeb moms are no different. Plenty of famous women who gave birth in the last year have spread the news to their fans (in 140 characters or less, of course) about their new arrivals and their post-baby lives.
Take Kourtney Kardashian, for instance. She gave birth to sweet little Penelope Scotland Disick on Sunday, and yesterday she was back online, answering a fan who gushed about how great she looked a while back at the opening of fiance Scott‘s restaurant, RYU.
“Thank u!” she tweeted. “Excited to go back and eat sushi!” Sounds like she was denying herself some yummy raw-fish dinners for the sake of her baby.
Take a look at some of the great tweets other celeb parents found the time to share, despite sleep deprivation and busy feeding schedules!
Jessica Simpson 1 of 10Her first post-pregnancy tweet said simply, "BABY NEWS!!!" But since the world already knew that Maxwell Drew had arrived, she didn't need to say anything more.

Tori Spelling 8 of 10The "Craft Wars" host is great about tweeting pictures and news about her children - but she didn't launch her Twitter account till well after her third baby was born. "Hattie Margaret is 1 month old today!" she tweeted. She's sure to do something similar when her new baby arrives!
She also linked to great family pictures here.
Molly Sims 9 of 10Molly's first tweet after Brooks Alan was born on June 19 was a link to a "7 Healthy Changes You Can Make TODAY" item on her website. However, her personal blog rejoiced, "It is with such absolute joy and pure pride that we welcome Baby Stuber into our lives."

Alyson Hannigan 10 of 10Alyson's baby tweet may be the most beautiful of them all. She simply posted a captionless Instagram shot of baby Keeva Jane's hand. It surprised many to learn that Keeva had actually been born before her expected June due date.
