Let’s face it Fergie, Kate Middelton, Jessica Simpson, Kim Kardashian, Jenna Dewan Tatum are among the celebrities who have recently announced they are pregnant and you have got to wonder what Kool-Aid they are all drinking?

Being pregnant is more popular now than pregnancies that were once a Hollywood taboo!

Let’s look back at some of the most memorable maternity (& maternity) moments on sitcoms since the birth of television.

Diane realizes Carla's lie and finally forces her to confess who the real father is. In the end, even without a father to help raise the child, the bar patrons chip in to help Carla out. In "Lil Sister Don't Cha" (1983), Lucinda is born.

Potential papa Cliff ( who Sue Ellen was having an affair with) also shows up, leading to a typical season-ending cliffhanger!

It is then revealed how Rob found out for sure that Richie was his son: He met the Peters family. They were African-American.

When Elyse was about to hit a high note during her tune, it was time for her to go to the hospital. Fortunately, at home Steven was watching Elyse, so Steven knew he had to run off to the hospital!

And… She says "yes" to Joey -- right in front of Ross!

Arizona was able to resuscitate her and she was placed in an incubator, as her lungs and other internal organs hadn't fully matured. She eventually went home and Callie, Mark and Arizon were raising her together.

Fonzie ends up delivering the baby and when he speaks to Richie to congratulate him he finally passes out!

Marshall finally arrives in time for Lily's delivery. Because of his promise to Barney, Marshall and Lily name their son Marvin Waitforit Eriksen.

Don't worry the show got even with Quayle when they celebrated the diversity of families in a episode where they poked fun at Quayle's infamous potato/potatoe flub.

First, she can't get CeCe to latch on and later, she breastfeeds the wrong baby!

Andrea decides to keep the baby after considering an abortion.
