Forbes Released Their Highest-Paid Actresses List: Who Made the Cut? (Photos)Devan McGuinness
Forbes released their 2011 list for the highest-paid actresses and to be honest, these lists always make me cringe a bit (yes, jealousy). There were some surprising women who made the list this year — I was especially taken by surprise of the top earner of the year and I have a good indication she may be there again next year.
The list was a huge hit for celebrity mothers with 6 out of the 10 on the list being moms! It’s no surprise Angelina Jolie made the list, but which celebrity mama beat her for top earner among the parents this year?
Click through to see the celebrity parents who made the Forbes list for highest-paid actresses:
Meryl Streep 1 of 6Place on list: #8
Earning: $12 million
Winning her third Academy Award this year brought a lot of attention to the already well-known actress.
Sarah Jessica Parker 2 of 6Place on list: #7
Earning: $15 million
She has to be thankful for all her hard work on Sex and the City because it still brings in a lot of income for her. Her endorsement deal with Garnier helps too.
Julia Roberts 3 of 6Place on list: #6
Earning: $16 million
Though the movies she starred in this year weren't huge box-office hits, she still brought in the doe.
Charlize Theron 4 of 6Place on list: #5
Earning: $18 million
Two hit movies this year in Prometheus and Snow White and the Huntsman brought a lot of income into her bank account. Also helps she has some pretty high-profile endorsement deals too.
Angelina Jolie 5 of 6Place on list: #4
Earning: $20 million
This really shows her standing power making the list at #4 without a big blockbuster movie this year.
Sandra Bullock 6 of 6Place on list: #3
Earning: $25 million
It was a great year for Sandra as she raked in the most for celebrity moms on the list. Though her movie Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close was not a huge hit, it must have done her some good.
