Four Seasons Maui-Vacation Like Modern FamilySunny Chanel
On this week’s episode of the hilarious sitcom Modern Family, the whole clan packed up and flew off to Hawaii. A Pavlovian drool collected and dropped from the envious lips of viewers nationwide, surely matched with refrains of “I want to go to there.” What exotic locale elicited such travel lust? The Four Seasons Resort in Maui where the episode was shot. So what makes this Four Seasons so great? Let me count the ways.
It is the only AAA Five Diamond Award and Mobil Five Star Award winning resort.
It has four restaurants and bars including an outpost of Wolfgang Puck’s celebrity favorite hot spot, Spago.
It has a spa, fitness center, two pools (the adult one – according to Modern Family -has coveted bubble jets), tennis, three sprawling golf courses, plus that whole white sand beach and crystal clear water thing.
And for the kids, they get special treatment with such amenities as child-sized bathrobes, baby and kid toiletries and a children’s menu in all their restaurants and room service.
Now you’re probably wondering how much all this luxury will cost. By typing in random dates into the reservation page I got such diverse prices from $445 to $870. You can check it out here.
But really, it’s in Hawaii. It’s a Four Seasons. How could you go wrong? Just don’t get stuck in a hammock, let your teenage daughter out of your eyesight or forget your baby in the elevator.
