Alessandra Ambrosio ,Victoria’s Secret model and mom, has just announced  her own fashion and lifestyle brand, Alé by Alessandra.

I am always so impressed when you see a model and fashion icon really put their talents to work!  Even though we plan on seeing Alessandra on the runway for years to come, it is refreshing to see that there is a plan beyond the modeling career.

This collaboration with the US retailer Cherokee and Silver Sunrise LLC , will make its debut in Spring 2014.  It  will include pieces highlighting Alessandra’s Brazillian roots as well as inspirations from her travels around the world.

Alessandra tweeted this morning ” So excited to finally share a sneak peak of my new brand ále by Alessandra with you guys, stay tuned for more”

    It is so hard to find fashionable and fun clothing for the right price that actually don't fall a part! I have had thins problem recently!!! But, ále by Alessandra will include bohemian-styled feminine jackets, dresses, blouses, leggings and denim in bright colors and one-of-a-kind prints with embellished details.

    "This is not a hobby for me. I've been a fashion model for 15 years and designing is just an extension of my career," Alessandra told WWD. "I still plan on modelling lingerie, but at the same time this is a business transition that I plan to have around for a long time."

    The brand Alé by Alessandra was created by the model's company Silver Sunrise - so is not directly owned by Cherokee. The partnership with the retailer will aid with production and distribution - its sales network spans 45 countries - with plans to debut the range in Latin America first.
