George Harrison Remembered And Celebrated On His Birthday (VIDEO)

Today would have marked George Harrison’s 68th birthday. George Harrison was the guitarist for the most well-known band of all time The Beatles, and was known as  “the quiet one”.

George Harrison will be remembered today by many at the annual “George Harrison Public Birthday Celebration” at his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Music fans worldwide can also join in Harrison’s birthday celebration. Today, you can watch Concert For George, which is streaming for free for 24 hours at GeorgeHarrison.com. Eric Clapton, a very close, longtime friend of Harrison, served as the musical director for the tribute.

The event will be followed by the release of the film on Blu-ray and digital download for the first time ever on March 22nd.
