Do you suppose they said they really, really, really wannabe in the audience? They didn’t have to – they had VIP seats.
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell took her daughter, Bluebell, to see a performance of Viva Forever! The Musical on Saturday night at the Piccadilly Theatre in London. The new show features such Spice Girls songs as “Stop,” “Wannabe” and “2 Become 1.” The book, by AbFab alum Jennifer Saunders, tells the story of a girl who achieves fame via an American Idol-type singing competition.
The two were all smiles as they exited the theater. And why not? In addition to sharing a special mom-daughter evening out, they’re confident that Viva Forever! will become a long-running hit in the tradition of Mamma Mia!
