Mother and daughter design duo Madonna and Lourdes Leon are expanding their popular tween collection, “Material Girl” with new products that will include a beauty range and intimate, denim, outerwear and dress collections.
The Material Girl Beauty line will include a range of sweetly scented body lotions, body washes, mists, lip-glosses and nail polishes with names such as Wicked Watermelon, Flirty Fruit, Midnight Magnolia and Sinful Sugar.
The “Material Girl” lines’ additional collections will include panties, bodysuits and biker shorts in intimates (think more pre-tween than early nineties Madonna), along with tanks, tunics, and lounge pants in sleepwear.
Madonna and Lola’s line has been met with rave reviews and solid sales for the eighties-inspired, modern grunge collection. We’re glad to see that not only is Madonna keeping a good eye on her teenaged daughter, but she’s also helping the mini fashionista make her dreams of being a designer come true.
This isn’t the first time the original Material Girl has dipped into fashion, though. Madonna previously teamed up with H&M in 2007 for her own signature line as well.
The new products and additional fashion line will debut in Macy’s stores in this fall.
