Golden Globes 2011 nominees: Anything but a win for "The Tourist" would work

The funnest part of the Golden Globes is guessing which stars have hit the open bar the hardest during this often-outrageous awards show. The second-funnest part is seeing actors, TV shows and films that are often overlooked by the Oscars and Emmys taking home hardware. Here’s a list of the major Golden Globes 2011 nominees, including Golden Globes nominations in the best movie and best TV show categories.

  1. Beryl Shaw says:

What I love about the Golden Globe event is that it awards at the same time actors who represent both television and motion picture rolls. Ricky Gervais is sure to carry forth a spot-on live performance as event host. And then there is always the occasional surprise comment that comes from a celebrity award speech, the unknown, sure to happen. Although I cast my votes before the event, often they change, once I witness a different winner receive an award with impact, humility, and gratitude. Surprises are sure to come this evening, not only by way of what I hear and see, but also by way of what unexpected emotions I feel. BRING ON THIS SPECTACULAR EVENT! I’LL SEE YOU THERE!
