Grateful Mom Britney Spears Tips Helpful Waiter $100!

Britney Spears, grateful mom.

Ohhh, boy, have we all been there.

Britney Spears was in an L.A. eatery with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, when Jayden went into every parent’s nightmare: a public meltdown. Who knows why? He’s 5. That’s what 5-year-olds do, especially hungry ones.

You can almost see what was going through Britney’s mind: Restaurant + kids + tantrum = angry glares, hasty exit, still-hungry kids, embarrassed mom.

But, as Earsucker reports, Brit and her boys were blessed with the Waiter from Heaven. Instead of ignoring the weeping child or showing the family the door – some restaurants do have no-crying-kids policies – he offered a helping hand.

And get this – he wasn’t even assigned to their station!

Out of the goodness of his heart, the server came over to their table equipped with supplies and a sense of humor.

A witness at the restaurant says that the waiter took crayons and paper and began drawing cartoon characters to distract the unhappy boy. “Jayden’s tears dried up instantly as he and his brother got totally absorbed and happy.”

That thoughtful act saved the day – and Britney returned the kindness with a generous gesture of her own.

In addition to the tip she gave her own waiter, the grateful mom gave the angelic server $100.

Let’s hear it for random acts of kindness – and for mothers who appreciate them!
