Green Hornet Review Round-up

Seth Rogan

Seth Rogan is "The Green Hornet"

The Green Hornet opens in theaters today. We’ll give you the Green Hornet review round-up and tell you if the movie is worth seeing!

I’ll admit, I didn’t think I wanted to see this one until I watched the extended preview and then I thought it would be a good date night movie. But, we’ll see what the critics say.

Roger Ebert is NOT a fan: “‘The Green Hornet’ is an almost unendurable demonstration of a movie with nothing to be about. Although it follows the rough storyline of previous versions of the title, it neglects the construction of a plot engine to pull us through.”

Moviefonewas a little more positive about the movie, but still had this to say:  :But without a clear or well-defined moral through-line to motivate Britt and Kato which the film unfortunately does not have the experience is ultimately fun but also a little bit empty.”

LATimes: “‘The Green Hornet’ may not be the most tedious superhero movie ever — the competition is admittedly tough — but it is certainly in the running.”

I looked and tried to find a critic who loved the movie, but I can’t seem to find one! Though some at least say that it is an entertaining movie, despite its flaws.

Will you go see “The Green Hornet?”
