Watch Gwyneth Paltrow on Chelsea Lately, talking about her new cookbook, her role on Glee and why her daughter, Apple, is a vegetarian.
Gwyneth also talks about cooking with her kids in the kitchen, and her dad’s theory that kids “positively respond to being trusted with something that they don’t expect you to trust them with.”
Gwyneth’s son is a young cook in training, able to crack eggs without any shells… of course, she has to cut him off before he cracks a dozen!
Paltrow also explains daughter Apple’s choice to be a vegetarian, saying, “She’s totally vegetarian. She came to it on her own… she does not like – sometimes I can get her to eat a little fish – but almost never.”
Chelsea Handler asks, “How did she come to being a vegetarian on her own?”
Paltrow says, “I don’t know. She was just like, ‘I don’t like that'” if Gwyneth gave her meat when she was little.
Funny… my daughter hates to eat meat, too, but I wouldn’t call her a vegetarian. She’s just picky! Could Apple be a picky eater?
