sunnychanel SunnyChanel |

Gwyneth PaltrowGwyneth Paltrow is just like us! When the kids are asleep what does she do? She trolls the food blogs. One thing about Gwyneth, she is a foodie. Not only did she trek across Spain with Mario Batali, she regularly writes about food on her blog Goop, but she is currently working on her own cookbook. So it makes sense that she has visions of culinary greatness dancing through her head and the internet is a fabulous way to satisfy those cravings.

Gwyneth wrote on Goop, “On some nights, once the kids are asleep and I’m in for the evening, one of my favorite pastimes is to sit down with my laptop and a nice glass of wine. I read the news, do the occasional guilty shop on Net-a-Porter or Luisa Via Roma, and I’ve just discovered some great cooking blogs. These are at the top of my list.” So where does she go for a taste? Here are Gwyneth’s favorites.
Smitten Kitchen – Out of NYC, Deb Perelman is a mom who writes about recipes, cookbooks and chit chat, all with stunning photography.

Matt Bites – Matt Armendariz is a photographer, a cook and a blogger who has, as Gwyneth puts it, “ one of the most professional and visually arresting [sites] out there.”

Pictures and Pancakes – This photo based site was created by a husband and wife team, he is a food photographer and she is a food stylist.

Orangette – Molly Wizenberg blog is like a diary of her life, experiences and of course food.

David Lebovitz
– This is a sweet blog, literally. He is a pastry chef that lives in Paris, and writes about the town, their people and sweets of every sort.

Oh Joy Eats – She isn’t a chef but rather a die-hard foodie. She blogs about her jetsetting way and nibbling on things here, there and everywhere.

What Katie Ate
-  She celebrates the marriage of foodie and photographer with beautiful results.

Canelle et Vanielle – Food writer, stylish and photographer Aran Goyoaga writes about her gluten-free diet with recipes including photos from ingredients to final product.

Tastespotting – Sarah Gim curates this site that is a collection of thousands of food and drink recipes.

Stay at Stove Dad
– John Donahue is a “a working-and-going-home-and-cooking-dad,” and his blog covers his recipes he makes for his wife and two daughters.
