Hanukkah 2010: Hanukkah Shows We Love

AdamSandler-8crazynightsHanukkah 2010 begins tonight!  As families start to celebrate Hanukkah, the web is buzzing with songs and shows about the Festival of Lights!

From the Adam Sandler’s classic Hanukkah (Chanukah) song to Elmo to Saturday Night Live, there are tons of family favorites celebrating Hanukkah. Here are a few more of our favorite shows and videos:

8 Crazy Nights – Not exactly a traditional holiday flick but this Adam Sandler movie has a nice message.  8 Crazy Nights is a musical tale about Davey, a thirty-something party animal.  Davey finds the holiday spirit by performing community service as a referee for the youth basketball league.

A Rugrats Chanukah – The Rugrats version of the Chanukah story with a little dose of family drama added in.  This Hanukkah family flick is educational and fun for the whole family.  In other words, this is a holiday movie for kids that doesn’t make mom and dad want to scream in agony.

The OC - “The Best Chrismukkah Ever
The OC remains one of my favorite guilty pleasures and even though the series is gone, “Chrismukkah” lives on!  For those of you not obsessed familiar with The OC, Chrismukkah is Seth Cohen’s holiday mash-up of the Hanukkah and Christmas holidays.  If you’re an OC lover, I’m sure you love Chrismukkah!

Hanukkah Harry -  Jon Lovitz’s Hanukkah Harry on SNL is an oldie but it’s still funny!  Check out this Saturday Night Live sketch over at NBC.com.

Check out a few more of our Famecrawler favorite videos for a Happy Hanukkah and watch the trailer for 8 Crazy Nights below!
