Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have more than just the holidays to celebrate this time of year. Their twin girls, Dolly and Charlie, are celebrating their third birthday today (Dec. 28)!
Jerry was excited from the very beginning to find out he’d be having baby girls. ”I am excited I am having girls. I know guys are supposed to say, ‘I want a boy. I want to play baseball,’ but I think I’m going to be good raising girls…I can’t wait. They’re going to be tough chicks. They’re only having sex when I’m dead. If they don’t date boys at all and just want them to be infatuated with their father, that’s what I’m really going for,” excited dad Jerry said on learning that he was having twin girls.
And Romijn feels as though motherhood is the best task she ever took on. “Being a mom makes me feel whole and like I understand the meaning of life,” Rebecca said.
The twins were both conceived naturally, without any in vitro fertilization or fertility drugs. Dolly was named after famed singer Dolly Parton, and Charlie’s name was chosen after Jerry’s brother Charlie.
Happy Birthday, Dolly & Charlie! Take a look at photos of the girls below!
