Happy 4th of July! Celebs Tweet Their Holiday Greetings (Photos)

Snooki sends love and July 4 greetings.

It’s the glorious – and for most of us, hot – Fourth!

No matter what our personal beliefs or political leanings, Americans all join together as one today to celebrate our independence from Great Britain – just 236 years ago – and our pride in our nation.

That includes celebrities from TV and film, from all over the country – such as Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, seen here. She tweeted this morning, “Happy Birthday America! Thank you to all those that keep our country free! #4thofJuly”

Here are some other tweets from famous folk who interrupted their cookouts and beach trips long enough to wish happy birthday to their homeland.

Happy and safe Independence Day!
