Happy Bastille Day! 10 Celebrities You MAY Not Have Known Are French

By Sunny Chanel |

Yes, Beyonce is French

Happy Bastille Day everyone! A day that celebrates the start of the French revolution way back in 1789. In France, it is formally called La Fête Nationale (The National Celebration), but here in America we call it Bastille Day (in honor of the fortress that citizens took seized back in the day).

Bastille Day is a great excuse to celebrate French culture from Beef Bourguignon to Veuve Clicquot. And in honor of this important day in French history, we have put together a list of ten celebrities parents who you may have no idea that are French from Beyonce and beyond.

Check out who has French blood running through their veins right here:

(at left) Beyonce may not be directly from France, but she has French Creole blood in her superstar veins!
