Has Jessica Simpson Set Her Lucky Wedding Date?

Jessica may be the next one headed down the aisle.

Most women who’ve just given birth can barely plan their next morning’s breakfast, much less a major, carefully orchestrated, star-studded party. But Jessica Simpson isn’t “most women.”

According to Life & Style Weekly, Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson have set a date for their wedding – and it’s coming up sooner than you might think!

A source tells the magazine that Jessica has picked December 12 as the Big Day. (12/12/12 – get it?) That seems logical, considering that the couple reportedly had originally planned to wed on November 11 of last year for a lucky 11/11/11 date.

But don’t expect a huge splashy Hollywood affair for the parents of newborn daughter Maxwell.

The source reveals, “Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends,” with the ceremony taking place beachside.

That would certainly explain her rush to drop the baby weight as quickly as possible (courtesy of Weight Watchers). No way is our girl going to exchange her vows in a white lace muumuu.

As if new motherhood, dieting, hosting Fashion Star and planning a wedding weren’t enough, Jessica is also reportedly hiring her favorite party planner, Mindy Weiss, to put together a baptism reception for her little girl.

Hope she’s taking some time to sleep!

If the rumor is true, we’ll be watching closely for more details of the romantic (and 12-intensive) wedding.
