Like Heidi Klum doesn’t have enough on her plate. She is a model, spokesperson, Emmy winning producer, designer and mom of four. And now she can add one more job onto her resume tooth fairy.
As a kid, Heidi Klum didn’t get to participate in the tradition. So she didn’t know much about this parental task until her 5½ year old daughter Leni lost her first tooth. She told Jay Leno about her lack of knowledge saying that, “I didn’t know because I didn’t have a tooth fairy and I wasn’t going to call anyone and say, How much do you put under the pillow?'” during a recent appearance.
How much did Heidi put under the pillow?
“So we put $20 bills. I just heard that was a lot. What am I doing? I don’t know!” But she thought that Leni wouldn’t be impresses with a lesser sum saying, “She finds money all the time, that kid has her eyes on the floor. When we’re in New York for weeks to shoot the new show, she’s always on the floor looking. She finds pennies and dimes so I don’t know if that would have cut it.”
And Heidi upped the ante of the myth of the Tooth Fairy.
“She said, Oh, I can’t fall asleep because I want to meet the tooth fairy,'”
“I said, Don’t worry, papa and mama, we’re going to wait in the closet and when she comes we’re going to take a photo of her. So as soon as she was sleeping I put this [tulle] thing over my head and I put this tiara on. Then we put the money [under her pillow] and took the photo.”
Yeah, but not everyone has a super model for a tooth fairy. And if she gave twenties each time for each kid… well that’s gonna add up! Good things they’re rich.
