According to super mom Heidi Klum, she managed to save the life of her 7-year-old son Henry and his nanny just before they could have been swallowed up by a tide in the ocean during their Hawaiian vacation this past week. Both the supermodel and her boyfriend, Martin Kristen ran to help them out of the water in what I’m sure anyone can describe as a nightmare situation.
“We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water,” the Project Runway host tells Us Weekly in an exclusive statement. “Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.”
Heidi didn’t gave any more further details, but it’s good to hear that everyone is safe and sound. I couldn’t imagine feeling what she probably felt while watching her son be swallowed up. Yikes!
In the meantime, I’m going to be signing up my children for swimming lessons for this summer once again. It’s always better to play it safe that sorry, in my opinion.
