Hit or Miss? Christina Aguilera Wears the American Flag on 4th of July (Photos)

It was all about the boys and showing off her patriotism for pop star Christina Aguilera on Wednesday. The Voice judge was spotted with her boyfriend – Matthew Rutler – and her boy – son Max Liron Bratman – at a beach in Malibu.

To celebrate the Forth of July, Christina wore a very festive American Flag jacket that made quite a statement. And a statement patriotic purists would probably not support. As the USA-Flag-Site forum says that in the U.S. Flag Code, section 4-(d) it states that: “The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery….” Is her fashion statement a hit or miss?

Check out more photos of Christina, Matthew and her son Max hanging out on the beach right here.
